Jimmy leaves Haste the Day....


So…..I’ve decided to leave the band. Before anyone jumps to any conclusions, it was my own decision. I feel like this chapter in my life is coming to a close and it is time for me to move on. The guys in my band are my best friends and my brothers and my decision to leave has been a difficult one. I will miss them quite a bit as they continue on and as the band continues to grow as I am confident it will. The past 4 years have been some of the best years of my life. I want to thank everyone that I’ve met while traveling all over the nation for sharing your lives, your homes, your cities, your emotions and your love with me and the band.



I have a list of people about 10 miles long that I want to thank but I could go on for days about how you all have affected my life so positively. So let me thank you all here, you know who you are.



I’m stoked to move on but sad to say goodbye after these last few weeks on tour as I finish out the year with the guys. My last show will be December 30th @ The Knights of Columbus in Indianapolis, Indiana. If you can come out, please do so we can have one last dance.

Who the heck is Jimmy? No offense, but I'm just curious - bass, drummer, vocals, what?

Just when I started to get into Haste the Day he has to go and do this. :P

I KNOW! like, ya, and btw, Jimmy is the Screamer/vocalist.

He never was my favorite screamer, but I did like the vocals the other 2 guys sung in the song.. gah, whats the name of it.. their current single.

And to stay on topic... Jimmy's departure is depressing to say the least. Haste the Day was steadily climbing up my list of liked bands.

yeah thats realy sad i bet the might lose allot of fans now since hes the main guy the vocals and stuff. i get to see them saturday so i get to see him perform for the last time.

ah man it was sad to see him play for the last time haha when the played "Amercian Love" the guitar player had his hand arround jimmy.

whoa maybe they'll get a new singer that can sing... instead of making the guitarist sing the actual singing parts because the screamer cant sing because he sucks at singing... personal opinion dudes

im pretty sure Jimmy could sing(Kim said that too), he just didn't always do it, but im just pretty sure he did.

Hmm... I was trying to figure out, what is the name of the guitarist that does most of the actual singing parts?

In the video for their single, there was actually two of them that sung. The guitar player and the bassist.

that i knew, but in the other video, i think he does some singing. they have a new screamer/singer now. i don't remeber his name.

So who is the guy that sings "Long Way Down"? I believe off of their new cd, or second new one. Was that Jimmy?
