Do you like Blizzards? I know I used to, until I woke up this morning after it snowed all night. It was freezing inside, so I took a shower, then went to school and nearly froze to death walking inside. After a rather mediocre day at school, in which it snowed all day, I left to go home. I slid across the road, and nearly ran into a minivan. I pulled the E-Brake and almost skidded into some little kid walking home from somewhere. What do you guys think of snow?

i love snow its about one of my favorite things. We had like two feet a few years back and me and my neighbor made an igloo. It was pretty darn sweet and lasted for something like 2 months. When i snow plow man comes he packs all the snow at the bottom of the culdasac and it makes some pretty predigious snow forts like 4 feet high packed as hard as ice with gravel in it for extra support. Man i absolutely LOVE the snow.

I don't mind snow so much, except for the fact that I'm used to playing in it for a few days at camp every few years. Now I have to live in it. Since there hasn't really been any snow yet, we'll see. :P

i am definitely dreading the snow...we always get lots of snow and then a few ice storms and some more snow and it goes on...i hate driving to school and work and half the time i cant get out of my driveway.....and its a long drive way and we have no snowblower or plow....it took me and my mom a couple of hours to shovel it so my dad could get in when he came home from work...not mentioning walking to classes on campus....i have had enough snow for a few years lol....

I dread thinking about this winter, last winter was horrible for us, I did ok since I had my truck, but now I have a little Dodge Neon, and a longer distance to drive, plus highway driving...ick...but I might be getting the truck back, so that might make it a little better, still, they say this winter might be worst than last winter.

Actually, if you want to drive into the snow, drive slower. If you start to glide, release your feet from the brake or accelerator. Let the car stop on its own. If you get into a skid, turn into the skid, and don't brake.

it's supposed to snow later today here, about 2-4 inches. I don't agree with the manual/automatic thing. my first car was a manual, yeah I loved it, but after that I got lazy, and thus I got an automatic. your good cheer is overwhelming. At least you didn't wreck the first week of having your license (I can't spell today, pardon me if that's wrong). That's more fun than most people can stand! ::] :D
Why? Do you like snow or something?
I don't like snow, per se. But it's not like a hate the stuff. The first few snowfalls of the season are supposed to be enjoyable - a welcome change. Around Febuary is when it begins to get a bit tiresome. But it's not as horrendous as you are constantly making it out to be. The thing you need to realise is to have a bit of caution whenever you venture outside if it's snowing really bad near you. You need to learn how to act when there's a situation - like a blizzard or squall - in which it might be impossible to drive or venture outside. Driving in whiteout conditions is never a smart idea; the weather service usually lets you know when it is highly unsafe to go outside.
And don't tell me I don't know what I'm talking about. I've had my fair share of heavy snowfalls, being in northern Ohio and constantly receiving heavy bands of lake effect snow - and having last year being the record-breaking year in how much snow we have received. Try to suck it up and live with the snow, even though it might be a bit aggravating from time to time. It's only December, for goodness sake! There's still like four months of the white stuff remaining - so I don't want to hear constant whinging about how 'snow is evil' and 'I can't stand it anymore' because it's already gotten real old and we haven't even gotten to the actual solstice yet. [/rant]
