I was thinking a few days ago, and I started running some songs through my head, and the sound of John cooper's voice kinda got mixed in... anyway, Christmas (Skillet Style) would be soooooo cool... Your Thoughts...?

I really hope Skillet never even considers doing a Christmas CD.

that would be funny....just imagine it...john cooper is singing Jingle bells and everyone is wearing elf suits (john is santa thou..of course) no one would EVER take em seriously anymore...they would be a band to laugh at...nope...i hope they dont also

Bands that make Christmas cds are usually at the end of their careers. That is just the final nail...

I think that they should go in with Iron Maiden to make a Christmas CD. Nothing like dual blazing electric guitars to bring that holiday spirit home.

I think they should do an unplugged CD, or like an acoustic CD. I know they have the Alien Youth DVD unplugged but like an actual album.

well.....it would be funny if Skillet did do a christmas album. but i cant picture John in a Santa suit. & Korey, Lori & Ben in elf costumes? come on! but it would be kinda nice to hear them do a couple of christmas songs like silent night, joy to the world, & a couple others.

I never thought of John in a santa suit, and Ben's too tall to be an elf, and The elf look wouldn't fit Korey and Lori.
anyway, maybe I'll have to do a Skillet style christmas concert for my family... lol, (No, I won't wear a santa suit...).

Wow.. I just noticed, Korey and Lori rhyme. That must create tension in the band..

No, they're not a tense band from what I have heard from those who spend a lot of time with them. :)

(Wow, I almost spelled it "there"... I must reflect now... ;))

I still like my idea of them teaming up with Iron Maiden, and putting out a Christmas album. They could bring in Beyonce Knowles, and Bon Jovi as well, for a very diverse sound.

That would be an interesting cd, odd, but interesting

You know what would the best Christmas CD in the history of the world? Blindside. I can hear them screaming Deck the Halls already... Haha, I die every time I think of it.

I feel the same way about John, just like in the veggie song "Stand"... anyone who hasn't heard that song, you should listen to it...

Wow. The idea of making a Christmas album scares me. I have quite the distaste for Christmas music. Haha.
