Does anyone have a fender g-dec (for those of you that don't know a fender g-dec is a type of amp.) if so does anyone know how to make it sound like the guitar on alien youth.

No, You'll have to forgive Me for meing an Idiot, I'm a guitarist, but I'm not familiar with Fender, G-dec?
Anyway, If it's an electric, add a little bit of overdrive, and a little distortion. I use Dan Electro pedals, and I've found the overdrive and tunneled distortion work pretty good.
boy, if Ben were on here, he'd be able to tell you for sure...

Did that set up work? I find that if i have my guitar set for the bridge pick up, i get the best sound...

I don't have a distorter but I used what I could and it dosen't sound like the giutar on AY but it's the closest its been yet overall I'd it sounds good

If I'm not mistaken at that time Skillet used Marshall heads on AY....I couldn't tell you the exact , because I'm a Mesa guy, and don't like the sound of Marshalls.......but I must admit , if they used a Marshall on that album they got a pretty good sound out of it. They use the Mesa Boogie Triple Rectifier on Collide. Although Kill Me, Heal Me sounds very Mesaesc.
