I was searching through the forums, and decided to check if they had a thread for the band, "From First to Last."
Le gasp!
There was none.
So, here I am, making one for them.
Has anyone else heard of them, and actually like them?

Oh yes, their purevolume - which you can see above.
Or, you could go to their MySpace: here (http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=96306).

i, personally, think that from first to last are a total bunch of freaks. however, they make absolutely incredible music, and i cannot believe how talented they are. so i like them a lot, despite them being such big losers.

Ha, what good is music if it was not made by a bunch of dorks? :) Knowing that dorks can make music gives hope for me. I've never heard of them though, I'll check 'em out.

hey, so did anyone pick up their new album (heroine) yet? i kind of want to get it, but it's not really at the top of my "cd wish list", i only want to get it if it's actually good. so, any opinions/reviews that could help me out?

Aiden, My Chemical Romance and AFI are the only horror bands worth mentioning. FFTL equal lame and they don't ahve a bass player. When they do its the dude from limp bizkit no cred there.

Uhm yeah, you're wrong. They're really good. They do have a bass player actually; and I don't think she ever played for Limp Bizkit. Her name is Alicia Simmons. And she's good at what she does. She's played for Fall Out Boy and My Chemical Romance [is engaged to MCR bass player Mikey Way] before.
And please, no bashing of the band in the band thread for people who do like them.

ummm actually I'm right Alicia only toured with them for a brief time pick up the new Altenitive Press and Check it out. She was a guitar tech for those band not a member. Wes Borland played bass on their last album.

hows the drumming on it? that's the biggest reason i like fftl...their drummer is probably one of my favourite drummers. so yeah, any opinions on the drumming, shea (or anyone else)?

"Oh wow! Lets try to make a point when she really DOESN'T CARE!" And I never said she was part of the band. She fills in when one member of the band can't play.
Derek Bloom is a fabulous drummer. He's one of the greater drummers in the present.

i'm gonna have to side with shea on this one. not because i'm in LOVE with fftl, but because i've been at these boards long enough to know that this type of argument accomplishes nothing. i made a post in the nickelback thread fairly recently that applies to this as well. there are so many bands mentioned on the boards that i don't really like either, but to be honest, no one cares. we don't really want an opinion that just pisses everyone off. we just got through a huge stage where far too many posts on the boards were arguments about emo and why it sucks/doesn't suck and such.
anyhow, my point is that if you don't like a band that other members on the board wish to dedicate a thread to, it's far better to just refrain from typing anything than to state why you hate them.

its not an arguement I jst think the stage show of horrow rock is over done and only few band should be trying it. And they have another bass player on tour. And from a drummers stand point I'm not impressed. Check out As I Lay Dying or Stryder for real intense drummers.

yeah. in my opinion, most hardcore drummers are REALLY good. i love bleeding through because of their drummer, and i've gone to a few local hardcore shows and the drumming just blows me away. i'm a sucker for double-kick.
sorry, i shouldn't have put the word "argument" in. that was my fault. there was no argument. i simply was implying that i didn't want it to turn into an argument, but i worded it badly.
to be honest, i don't really like these posts that scold people for posts on the boards, but like i said, we went through a terrible stage regarding emo (i was involved in the constant argument, too) and it got out of hand so badly.
so yeah, usually when you have a negative opinion on a band, it's normally best to sort of keep it to yourself. if you must give a negative opinion, it's best to give it in a REALLY nice way and always explain why you dislike them. i (and many others) hate one line posts that state, "[insert disliked band here] is gay." it's frustrating for a lot of people, and often leads to arguments.
