Why are we not alloud to use photos in html codes? If its because of the fact people use large pictures why can't we have a rule that they can be only so big?

You can't use images in your signature, but you can put photos in your post by using bbcode, which is what most boards use, rather than HTML.

Also, it's because images in signatures are very annoying, especially for people who are still on dialup.

I know u can still use the code elsewhere.. i was just curious as to why not in a signature... even if your only alloud to have 1-2 thumbnails?
I know u can still use the code elsewhere.. i was just curious as to why not in a signature... even if your only alloud to have 1-2 thumbnails?this was a decision we made a year or two ago after we had several people posting large (along the lines of 2-3 MB) animated GIFs in their signature. It made everything load very slow, as well as make everything more difficult to read.
