So theres only three tracks? I was under the impression that CD came with ALL the Alien Youth songs PLUS the 2 bonus songs.

Just curious though, since this album is no longer made or sold anymore, the band no longer gets any money if you buy it from other users correct? So do those songs qualify for legal downloading for free off like limewire? :D I know there were only 2000 of Evanescence's Origin album made and Amy Lee just told everyone else to dl the songs free since they aren't getting money from the album anyway and its better than getting ripped off buying bootlegs.

No, it wouldn't be legal to download for free from the internet. The fact that the cd isn't being pressed anymore doesn't mean that it can be dowloaded.

Sometimes its a good investment...back when my daughter was about 16 or so she paid 125.00 for some rare relientK CD...i thought she was nuts but she worked for the money so it was her call. Well her first year of college she needed some extra money and since she wasnt a big relientK fan any more she decided to sell it. It went for 235.00 so she almost doubled her investment.

Like everything else it depends on supply and demand:)

$235 for Relient K?! Yuck. That's good for her, though. I just can't imagine anyone being that into Relient K to spend over 200 bucks on a CD. I hope one day sports cards will get popular again so that my childhood collection will be worth something.

Ha! I remember the POG craze, as well! I remember having an argument with my dad as a kid. He said, "Son, you're wasting your money on those 'POGs'... they'll go out of style soon and you'll be left with nothing." I, being as keen as an adolescent can be, replied, "Naw uh, Dad! POGs are gonna be cool forever!" Ha! What an idiot I was. Wow... tangent. I'm done.

Agreed. :P

But, yeah, quite a good bit of money spent there, I suppose. :P Nice investment.

I still have over 200 pogs :P And like 8 "slammers" Had more but don't know what happened to the rest.

I just pulled em out the other day in fact and tried playing em again... good grief... I can't believe I actually found that amusing once.

(BTW... how did pogs come into this?)

Haha, I had to search wikipedia to find out what pogs were:P http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pogs

"Heaven In My Veins" is a great song. It doesn't really "fit" with AY, though. I dig it a lot.

"Always The Same"... waaaaaay too poppy. I for one am quite glad "You're In My Brain" replaced it as the "Angels Fall Down" lead-in. A better album-closer and song overall.

I maintain very little hope that Skillet will one day issue a "B-sides" disc, they're not really a band that seems to think outside the box in terms of EPs and fan service. "Last Day Of Summer" from Surfonic Water Revival is an outright brilliant song. I'd like to see the three mentioned rare cuts along with the radio alternates of other songs (Acoustic Savior, different The One, slower Be There, etc) on an EP... regrettably the inevitable Skillet best-of will be the standard issue style, two new songs and the 'hits.'

Love 'em, but they're not the band to put out an awesome fan service product like this (http://demonhunter.net/front.php) or this (http://www.maplemusic.com/product.asp?dept%5Fid=567&pf%5Fid=565%2D46&lang=EN)

Also looking forward to Comatose, actually felt a small thrill when I read the announcement.

It was funny when POGs started to get more and more popular... the slammers just kept getting bigger and bigger. It's really funny to remember. I remember my first big slammer. It was solid nickle or something and considerably thick. It cost me like $10. My little brother had to outdo me with a $20 solid brass slammer which was about an inch and a half thick! Ha!

BTW, POGs got into the discussion when I was commenting on the accrued value of that Relient K CD. I mentioned that I hope my old sports card collection will one day be worth something, and that led me into POGs. Yes, a bit of a tangent.

Actually, I plan on hunting the CD down when I have enough money pooled up for something so rare. Just because I'm crazy and I like some rare things. Too much Pokemon. ;)
