Shouldn't this be a poll? I liked everything up to their last cd. Afi's newer sound is going to take some time to get use too. It isn't bad but it isn't all that good either.

AHHH! AFI is terrible! and im gonna use the forbidden word... AFI is EMO and therefore nothing good could possibly come from that. and this is the only post im gonna do on this thread.

Ahhh! AFI members aren't emo nor are they a emo band. Get your facts straight and to say nothing good can come from emo is ignorant. All music has its good and bad, is the way I see it.

Id say i like their new stuff better. As of Sing The Sorrow and The Art Of Drowning. Their old stuff doesnt sound as clear.

I find myself switching between Shut Your Mouth and Open Your Eyes and then listening to decemberunderground, and shift back to Black Sails. *shrugs* I like 'em all I guess.

It may be highly biased, but I personally think afi can do no wrong. I finally bought "Decemberunderground" last week and I love every second of it. At first I was a little disappointed that it wasn't as "dark" as "Sing the Sorrow," but then I got over it and found myself dancing and singin' along in no time...it's great...so I pretty much like all afi...

I've been hearing that this new album of theirs is "electronica". Thus, it's starting to spark my interest. It may be a good way to introduce me to their music.

Yeah, it's definitely MORE 'electronica' and 'dance'-ish than any of their other albums...

Overall, it seems like a good album for everyone, like it's less hardcore than their older work, therefore more people won't be 'intimidated' by it or them as a band, in my opinion...but it still has that afi touch...

I nearly died when I heard Love like Winter for the first time. I adore the lyrics. I like Summer Shudder and Endlessly, She Said, as well as Kiss and Control, and er, all of them. :P

In other words, I am SUPERMONDOPSYCHED to go to their concert Monday. It'll be extremely cathartic and wonderful and I might explode from excitement.

Ah, yes, the thalia is back! For now, at least...hehe...

Yeah, "Summer Shudder" was my at first my favorite, but it's so hard to decide...I really do like the whole album...

And you are SO lucky, Skelfy, to get to see them live! ARGH! If I would have gone to Warped this summer, perhaps...but no...I really don't have the money to go or anything...
