My sister-in-law sent me this becaus4e she knows I would rather have soda than water. I emailed her back, "Thanks, but I prefer Pepsi"

WATER

#2. In 37% of Americans, the thirst mechanism is so weak
that it is mistaken for hunger.

#3. Even MILD dehydration will slow down one's metabolism as 3%.

#4. One glass of water will shut down midnight hunger pangs
for almost 100% of the dieters studied in a University of
Washington study.

#5. Lack of water, the #1 trigger of daytime fatigue.

#6. Preliminary research indicates that 8-10 glasses of
water a day could significantly ease back and joint pain
for up to 80% of sufferers.

#7. A mere 2% drop in body water can trigger fuzzy short-term
memory, trouble with basic math, and difficulty focusing on
the computer screen or on a printed page.

#8. Drinking 5 glasses of water daily decreases the risk of
colon cancer by 45%, plus it can slash the risk of breast
cancer by 79%., and one is 50% less likely to develop
bladder cancer. Are you drinking the amount of water
you should drink every day?

COKE

#1. In many states the highway patrol carries
two gallons of Coke in the trunk to remove blood from
the highway after a car accident.

#2. You can put a T-bone steak in a bowl of Coke
and it will be gone in two days.

#3. To clean a toilet: Pour a can of Coca-Cola into the
toilet bowl and let the "real thing" sit for one hour,
then flush clean. The citric acid in Coke removes
stains from vitreous china.

#4. To remove rust spots from chrome car bumpers:
Rub the bumper with a rumpled-up piece of Reynolds
Wrap aluminum foil dipped in Coca-Cola.

#5. To clean corrosion from car battery terminals: Pour
a can of Coca-Cola over the terminals to bubble
away the corrosion.

#6. To loosen a rusted bolt: Apply a cloth soaked in Coca-Cola
to the rusted bolt for several minutes.

#7. To bake a moist ham: Empty a can of Coca-Cola in to A baking pan,

wrap the ham in aluminum foil, and bake.
Thirty minutes before ham is finished, remove the foil ,

allowing the drippings to mix with the Coke for a sumptuous brown gravy.

#8. To remove grease from clothes: Empty a can of Coke
into the load of greasy clothes, add detergent, and run
through a regular cycle. The Coca-Cola will help loosens grease stains .

It will also clean road haze from your windshield.

SOME FACTS ABOUT COKE FOR YOUR INFORMATION:

#1 the active ingredient in Coke is phosphoric acid.
It will dissolve a nail in about four days. Phosphoric
acid also leaches calcium from bones and is a major
contributor to the rising increase of osteoporosis.

#2. To carry Coca-Cola syrup (the concentrate) the
commercial trucks must use a hazardous Material place
cards reserved for highly corrosive materials.

#3. The distributors of Coke have been using it to clean
engines of the trucks for about 20 years!

Now the question is, would you like a glass of water?

or Coke?

Bunch of myths.

I don't like coke but I know that none of thats true. Myth busters proved the disolve myth to be false and others about Coke I forget.

I choose juice over both.

It's good to drink at least a gallon of water every day, not counting any juice or other liquid intake.

Water, duh. Coke is disgusting and bitter. Water refreshes and energizes me. And I do recall a friend of mine telling me how he cleaned a car battery with a 2-liter of Coke.

You could clean a car battery with water. :P I happen to love Coke...but lately I've taken to drinking water more than anything else.

I love Coke! But I actually don't drink much of it, I try to drink as much water as possible. It's not a good sign when I can feel my insides burning when I drink Coke on an empty stomach! :o

Hmmm, I like coke but the sugar in pop always makes me feel like crap. Water gives me a head ache the more I drink it, don't ask me why (does anyone know why that is?).

So...stick my in the mosh pit with the juicers. ;D

Maybe you're drinking too much COLD water too fast. Drink warmer water or slow down :P That's how it is for me anyway

Yesterday I was proud of myself when I reach for an orange pop rather than a coke! (I know it's not THAT much better). But then I realized it was a diet pop. YUCK! Aspartame is so gross and worse then regular pop.

Root beer has no caffeine and is therefore evil. More evil than coke.

I'm drinking root beer right now and I feel a little shakey. Hmmm...

I get shaky sometimes too...I discovered that it's because your blood sugar crashes and you don't have enough in your system. It can happen when you don't eat enough or if you've only eaten high sugar, high carb foods in the past few hours. Foods that are high in sugar causes your blood sugar to spike and when the "high" runs out, it'll crash, making you feel shaky and slightly weak.

I don't drink caffeinated drinks anymore, nore to I drink anything with rich sugar in it. I drink Sprite Zero now. My Dad said that once he switched to diet soda, he lost 30 lbs. doing just his every day work routine (he does get worked hard, so I compensate with exercise).

The majority of my non-water drinks have caffeine in them, but water is my favorite overall, well, with the exception of coffee, and at times tea
