I saw a show on TLC today called "Repo Man" and it was about people repo'ing vehicles
http://tlc.discovery.com/schedule/series.jsp?series=54532&gid=0

Part of the lead-in and lead-out music sounded to me like a rip off of one of the loops on "You Take My Rights Away" at 2:24 into the song.

Did anyone else catch this?

Watch the show and see if you notice it again in the future.
In the credits the music co that did the music for the show was called "LimeBeat"

I don't know if I'm just Panhead crazy, or if they really DID rip off that loop!

hey, ever watch the tv guide channel? They show something involving actors that sounds like a rip off of "Kill Me, Kill Me". i'll have to check that other one out too.

Not that I'm not calling Skillet's loops unoriginal, but some bands do use certain keyboards that contain certain loops and then you can likely hear the same loop two years later from another band. Who knows.

My sis saw that commerical in Virginia and asked me: "Hey, I saw this beer commerical and I think that dude who sings for Skillet is in it!"

It was pretty funny. Good times good times...

I never saw the Bud commercials either but I definately read about it on here and from John.

Regarding the loop I originally mentioned I dont know that it was used with or without permission, and honestly I am not even 100% sure that it is the same thing but there is a LOT of sonic similarity.

I was hoping either someone else heard it or knew what I am talking about.

i used to play in a praise band for a college campus ministry and the keyboard we used had a few of the same loops that skillet uses. it all depends on the keyboard's specific programming. that's probably the situation with the loop in that theme song.
