Would you ever like to perform on a late night show like Jay Leno?

i can probably answer both, i know im not as cool. why wouldnt they play on Jay Leno? probably more likely Jimmy Kimmel though.

Neff: they just released a myspace blog saying they just shot BOTH of the vids for Whipsers, and Rebirthing Yesterday!
the rest of the album isnt as hard as Whispers and Rebirthing, more like Last Night. Falling into black is a little upbeat. but Yours to hold is catchy but slow. potential hit on on Christian CHR and AC maybe mainstream as well. it has a lot of depth, good songs.

with all this new promotion and exposure... what is one main goal that you would like Skillet to accomplish as you enter this new level or "season" of the music (if you will)?

what do you want your new fans to gain from your music?

(stuff like that is always worth echoing in interviews)

What was the number one comfort you guys have had through the whole process of making Comatose?

Would you ever have a fan come up and sing with you?

what was them hardest song to do?

Which one hits close to home for you all?

what gives you so much energy to perform at such an enthusiactic level as you all do, you all look like you put your all into it. P.S. We adore every bit of it. Which I heard you broke the neck of a guitar here recently.

How has God been working in your lives?

How has the message you've told during your concerts evolved over the years?

regarding the themes on the new disc: if you could only give a one sentence comment to those who are hurting, what would it be?

In preparation of our coverage of Rock the Universe, ccmBuzz recently sat down with John Cooper of the Grammy nominated band, Skillet. With the instant success of their latest single, "Rebirthing," the band eagerly awaits the October 31st release of their 7th studio recording, Comatose. Read on for more information on the new album and much more.

Do you think it's true that it won't be released till the 31st?

I'm sure it was a typo.

yeah they would have said something by now. the only thing that worries me is that Skillet said they might not have recorded the newest song in time for the album release. so thats the only reason i can think of.
