i've been to india. it's pretty much that sad & filthy in much of the cities. that is a country desperately in need of the one true God.

I heard about the river thing, many people get/got sick from bathing in it. and that once a year thing as well.

It is sad how people take the truth and twist it to fit their own way. They will do anything to "wash away" their sins........except for actually going to the One who can take away their sin.

A lot of times I wonder why they don't at least try to get away from where they are. Like, you always see those commmercials on tv and its like "GET UP AND WALK AWAY FROM THERE!!!" But I suppose it's really not an option :
