This just happened today in Montreal. (In Quebec, Canada for those who might not know). These things make me so sad, if you have a moment, pray for the victims and their families.

The thing is.... in Canada they don't have these things that people do in America -- called 'shootings' or 'gun crimes'. ...

While that sounded sarcastic, it wasn't. And while that sounded exaggerated, it was.

Here in Guatemala (just capital City)

Taken from www.prensalibre.com the bigest news paper in guatemala.

“El año pasado, 567 delincuentes fueron capturados in fraganti en las camionetas. Ninguno fue condenado”.

Luis Gómez.
Da Asociación de Buses Urbanos, por falta de seguridad

Translation

Last Year (2005) 567 thiefs were captured in fraganti in public buses. None of the were condem by their acts.

Luis Gomez, Public buses Asociation.

567 are the ones who were captured, just imagine, how many scape every day.

A week and a half ago, a group of armed men stole 8.6 millions dollars from the Guatemala's Int'l Airport, that were supposed to be moved to the USA, but the convoy was intercepted. Since that day, everyday, are shootings everywere, with people implicated in the assault, who is behind this?? I dont know, so... a shooting and a woman killed is not a big deal for me, actualy, is an everyday thing here:-[
