Troll: In Internet terminology, a troll is usually someone who enters an established community such as an online discussion forum, and posts inflammatory, rude, repetitive, offensive, off-topic or otherwise disruptive messages designed intentionally to annoy or antagonize the existing members or alter the flow of discussion, including the personal attack of calling others trolls. Often, trolls assume multiple aliases, or sock puppets.

Didn't we add categories as we went along last year? When you voted for the standard set, you could write in for an extra category and people could add those as well.

If i am the official vote counter (which is both an honor and a curse), first off, i'd have to check it with my parents as i would be using their computer for an entire afternoon, and i would want to install a rule:

Once you vote, you can change your votes, but you must change them in your original post only. If you amend your votes in any other post but the original, they will not be counted.

That will make things tons easier.

lamb_servant72

IMPORTANT VOTING NEWS!

Instead of editing your vote, you will now be able to vote again. Check the first post in the thread for how to do so.

heh. some of the votes are getting interesting. still would be nice to see more than one vote for me (and that was because disciple and I were goofing off on one thread)

speaking of, I had to leave mid voting, so I submitted, and then forgot all about the voting >_<

it's not so much that I'm a lurker as it is that I forget about this place daily since it doesn't come up when I log into my computer.

Oo! I had this great idea. Ya know how the mods have this little title under their names? How cool would it be to have your boardie award title under your name for the year like the mods?!

okay I have too much time to think....

*Grumbles*

The only reason i am down to the wire for the Clonetrooper award is that i knocked down the movement to change it to Most Encouraging.

And for the record, the Best Mod voting was very close all the way through (except for Will, who only got one vote).

For anyone who wants it, i have the final tallies in Word, ready and easy to email, in case anyone wants to double-check my counting.

DOUBLE POST!

Just wanted to let everyone know (and the best way to do that is to put in a new post so those who've read the above get this)

The Vote-Off will be a week-long. Friday night, midnight Pacific time, is the deadline.

If you want to add your award in your signature, you'll have to suck it up and delete some stuff from it. Them's the breaks.

*steps up to microphone*

Thank you all who voted, even if it wasn't for me. It's a true indication of the Democratic process when a message board comes together like this, 35 people out of 2,175 users voting. There's a little piece of America there!

Anyway, thank you for your recognition of two things: that i am a good moderator (or at least well-liked), and that you all think CloneTrooper should go. i get the message now. i pushed for it to stay as a category, and hardly anybody voted. And it became a run-off where most people voted for me just because i wanted it to stay; i get the point. Thanks *mumbles beneath breath*.

What? No, i didn't say anything. What? NO! i'd never say that word! Never! Well fine then! i guess i'm not gonna win the Mod award next year!

*marches off stage*

I'm not sure what to say other than thank you very much! ;D It's great being here with all of you and congragalations to the other winners ;D ......except for that one person that keeps telling me I'm not the next Michle Jackson. You know who you are and you know I can dance like Mike! >:(.....oh wait that's on another message board..........ops... *runs of stage* *is chased by white fluffy alligator*

Friends! Americans! Countrymen... lend me your wallets! Or at the very least the contents of them.

I am Skynes, now with one years extra Hard Rocking because of you.

For this next year I vow to do what I always do, add humour and comedy wherever I go, to search the scriptures for whatever I can find and stick em up people's noses just to see the look on their face :)

Thank you, you've been a wonderful audience.

Wow. Most Inspiring. This is an honor. Especially since so many of you who inspire me voted for me.

I have had a weird year. I have had to put so much time into my work (and a move, and other things) that I haven't had as much daily time with God as I use to. I also feel like I haven't had much time to be "inspiring" here.

Now I feel all this pressure to be inspiring and that's going to mess up my total domination of the Most Relaxed catagory. AH HA- I see your evil plot! Well, I'm going to wake up the kids to have a food fight...as long as they put everything back in the pantry in alphabetical order...

So, I got "Most Missed" again, did I? I see a couple familiar faces nearly got it themselves. Some of the people voting for I don't remember or never knew, LOL.

I probably should've voted but I was busy with my book.

What probably means the most to me is getting one vote for "Most Inspiring Panhead". Really, just that one vote means something.

And thanks for the "funniest member" vote, ZJ, you're still funnier than me. :D

I'm sorry, I just can't keep it in any longer... That is the cheesiest statement I have ever seen on these boards. Oooooh...so many comments in my head...and I think they'd better stay there for the time being.

LOL...Once when my husband was on medication, he looked at me very lovingly and said, "People like you are starting not to exist anymore."

I like to tease him about that...I look down at my hands every now and then and shout, "Oh, no! I'm fading!!"
