38th Parallel is a really good band for people who like the rock/rap combo kinda like early style Pillar. They're not really a band anymore, but their CD Turn the Tides is awesome.
Sanctus Real is also good too. A little softer than the music I usually listen to, but the lyrics are pretty awesome.

Heh, I still have that CD. They were closer to Linkin Park.

Saw both of these bands at Cornerstone this past summer (I actually met Neocracy) both of them are amazing, although Neocracy is INSANE. Picture this: a band on a roadside stage, a couple hundred people crammed around cause the band there, that most have never heard of, are putting on a FAR better show than bands on the main stage. If you ever get the chance to see them in concert, do it! :P

Seven Places is good if you like the softer rock.
Seventh Day Slumber is awesomeee. 3rd favorite band for me. They're a little on the heavy side, but their songs Shattered Life and My Struggle are both really good.

I agree. SDS is cool. And Joseph Rojas' testimony and dedication to the Lord is quite inspiring.
My personal recommendation is Red. For those of you who may still be having some issues moving from Collide to Comatose, listen to Red's End of Silence in between. It does a nice job of bridging the two Skillet CDs.

Seventh Day Slumber...on the heavy side? *tries not to crack up* Sorry. Some of...most of what I listen to makes SDS seem like John Tesh. Case in point:
