Agreed, which is why Audioslave is such a great band, because they have a Rage hardedge to them but without the crappy lyrics. True, they are without De La Roce's vocals, but you take what you can get.

I think thats sort of a shallow mentality. I don't always agree with a bands message even that of some christian bands. Nirvana promoted drug use in there songs which when listened to by a teenager or young adult is a little more dangerous than stating a political view. I thinky ou just half to stand strong in your or moral, politics and belief and listen to whatever you want to.

I don't mind when a band is somewhat political in their music, I think it's more about the presentation than anything. Bands like Pink Floyd had blatant political messages in their music, but it was done in a way that could only be called art. On the other side of the spectrum, Green Day attempted to be political and only looked like idiots.

I am, however, extremely against an artist using their stage to push a political message. People come to see a concert, not hear some igorant moron with a microphone talk about why we shouldn't vote for this or that person. Shut up and sing.
