How far back in the day? Each one of their cds is different enough for it's own separate chapter of Skillet history. ;)

But anyhow, I love it all...from self-titled to collide and everything in between.

i was thinking the same thing. so i guess my answer is "ditto what she said."

Skillet always Writes Good Hits on their CD's...
Starting with I Can.... and Stuff like Fingernails and My Obsession

I like they're new stuff better. They're old stuff wasn't bad, but it's just not my favorite type of music.

I've grown to appreciate all of their styles during the different time periods of the band. I like the older stuff A LOT, but then I like the new stuff too!! It's just Skillet to me. Every CD is great in its own unique way.

I don't like their older stuff. Dunno why just don't. I much prefer the mroe rock/metal of their newer stuff.

a like there old stuff a lil more just a lil 1 precent more. dont get me wrong there new stuff rocks realy. i was kinding wishing that the could stay with the grundge sound for like 2 albums. but there new stuff rocks

It doesn't matter, I love it all!

I like their old stuff better. Self titled and HYILYS seemed a little more creative. But Collide has grown to be one of my favorite skillet records- its really grown on me. I think it's the best of all their new stuff (invincible and everything since then is considered 'new(er) stuff', right?)

^ is how i feel as well. I was like I don't really like Alien youth, but I am listening to it now and I'm chaging my mind on it.

I liked everything they did, but I must say I am favoring collide's sound alot, and i look at alien youth and wonder..lol

I like everything they do, some more than others, the only one that I really disliked was the hey you i love your soul, i like about half of the songs on that cd, but everything else was great, collide is obviously the best and most worked on record. After i llistened to collide for a while, i listened to alien youth again, I was like woa! i thought alien youth was hard core when it came out, it was cool, i realized how much more heavy they had become. Well thats what I think ;)

I have to say I love the New Skillet, but, the new Skillet sounds like the original Skillet really..lol. Anyway, new CD is an absolute great CD....One of their best, if not THE BEST!!

I was really disapointed with the collide album (sorry to say). Alien youth was such an amazing album. i bought it by mistake just after it first came out, and after listening to it almost non stop since then, i'm still not sick of it. Outta my entire cd collection (over 150). it is my favorite. so ya, :'( But i still love ya skillet!! You rock it all!
