What songs off the new album is skillet playing live...Since I dont get to see them till summer....I would like to know what to expect..

It will probably change by summer.

So far off the new album, I've heard Forsaken, Savior, Collide, A Little More, My Obsession, Fingernails, and Energy live.

I would guess that they'll play at least most of those (if time allows).

Hm, last time I saw 'em live, they didn't play Fingernails or Energy. It'd be nice to hear them play the former (at the Ashland concert) as it's my fav. ;D

Sweet! Except I find it rather sad that they don't play the best songs from Invincible, Alien Youth, and Collide. I'm noticing a distinct lack of songs like Under My Skin, Thirst is Taking Over, and Rest. Of course, they never used to really play these songs, but still...

Aaaah but my obsession is even rockinger...it was their opening song so they were just going nutso.....plus the drum semi solo....WOW!!!! and i agree about the bass opener to imperfection, flat out awesome!!!!!!

Last night they played: locked in a cage, Best Kept Secret, Invincible, You're Powerfull, Alien Youth, You're my Hope, Kill Me Heal Me, Forsaken, Savior, Collide, A Little More, My Obsession and finally Imperfection. 13 songs total :D , they extended the set because they had extra time. I have to agree about the bass opener on imperfection, that was just awesome!!

so they've finally added fingernails? my last show was SSR in Nashville and they didn't play it. I remember them playing it during soundcheck at the CD release party in Columbus and it was... well, let's say it needed some work ;) Glad they've gotten it worked into their live show.

well i saw them the 12 of july and they didnt play it cuz they were with Saliva.. and the time i saw them in march for ssr they didnt play it either that i recall. but yeah hopefully this coming up monday

Let's see...within the last month I've at least heard Locked in a Cage, Best Kept Secret, You're Powerful, You Are My Hope, and Alien Youth.

But they've been mixing up the setlist more than usual of late...I couldn't guarantee what to expect to hear (with the exceptions of Savior, My Obsession, Forsaken, Collide, and Angels Fall Down which they've been playing quite regularly).

That's good to hear that they're doing some variety.

yeah at the mainstream shows they wont play any other song that i know off except angels... but i do believe at the christian shows they will play the old stuff which is Awesome.....

yeah, it's nice that they do different setlists here and there. variety is nice. :)

the worship song was "How Deep the Father's love for Us" they played the first set at Cornerstone 2003. I've seen Skillet 3 or 4 times since then and still haven't heard them play a full 14 song set. The ones I been to lately they've just played 5 to 8 songs. Mainly My Obessesion, Best Kept Secert, Collide, Forsaken, Open Wounds, Angels Fall Down, Alien Youth, and Savior. I've yet to hear Fingernails, which is my favorite off the new record and I want them to bring back I Can and Stronger to their Live set. The last time I heard I Can was in 03 at Cornerstone, and It's ROCKED! The last time I heard Stronger (my favorite off AY) was in July of 02 in Dallas Texas. I don't think they've played Stronger in forever, and prob. will never bring it back, but it would be cool if they did, it's a great jumping/moshing song, especially that crazy guitar solo it took me a week to figure out how to play it. But I can (no pun) always dream.

hmm.. i saw them play, and though i don't remember all the songs, they did do best kept secret, alien youth, you know, the good oldish ones. even though korey wasn't there, it was still awesome, but, sadly, can never be the same without her.

i think it realy bite if korey wasn't at the concert..i mean she is awsomeand it isn't the same without her...

well, get used to it for a while. maternal love is greater than that for playing in a band. ;) she's got to stay off stage for a bit to hang with Xavier. newborns aren't made for going on the road or being without their mom for long stretches.
