so i like this thread, but my Itunes stopped giving me the Party Shuffle correctly. before it would display however many songs i told it to, now it displays my whole library, no matter how i set it up. anyone else know how to fix that?

You're sure you are in the shuffle? Does it appear as the music library, or music library in party shuffle form? Apple or Windows version? A good place to check otherwise would be apple.com or .ca, and then go to support. There is usually someone else with the same problem, so check it out.

i use Windows, the party shuffle used to work, but then one day, it would only display my entire library... cursed Karma...

Karma? Lol. Have you checked your preferences or whatever? There might be something in there, unless you've already combed the whole thing head to toe... Do you have any little people or mishief packed people around your house? Lol.

We all pirate music, don't we? Just make sure you have an easy delete file for when the police come around. :p Preferences would be your best bet. Also remember to check the apple.com support forums. You don't need a user to search stuff there, only to post.

the only way this will work is if you rub a nice magnet up against your hard drive :)
Police techniciens can restore deleted files, purged files and formatted hard drives.

Why don't you remove all the songs from it, restore to default settings, then put the songs back and see if that helps?

The subject line does say IPOD in it. That would confuse some. So have you completely searched your prefs? I'll check my Tunes and see what I can find.

The only thing I have found in prefs is a checkbox under 'General' that says 'Party Shuffle'. But I think it would dissapear of the lists if that box was unchecked.

Sorry, that "iPod" label was my fault. :P i moved the thread from the Arcade and erroneously named it. Sorry for the confusion.

Hmm... All I can say is that you'd have to re-install the program...Not too fun, but ok. Make sure you don't delete your iTunes music folder, though!! If you need help there, I'll see what I can do.
