So lately, I've been noticing people's avatar's popping up in places that an avatar shouldn't.

For example, Instead of "Quote" I see Skynes' Avatar, and for "Quick Reply" I see The Lamma's.

But it hasn't been too consistent either, today it was the example above, the other day it was something completely different. Is this an issue that only I am having or is it a bug with the board software/server?

by the way, I am using Firefox v2.0.0.3 on Windows XP pro x64 ed.

I haven't noticed this at all. So (I might be wrong) but I think the problem might have something to do with your computer.

ive noticed a problem with some formatting on myspace with firefox 2.0. i use it, and havent noticed it on vbullitin though. if it is really bad, use Internet explorer, that may fix it. or you can go to VIEW on firefox and select PAGE STYLE and select NO STYLE. it views it in a stripped down form, but the formatting should be better.

Yeah, i realized that when i couldn't find the Help Desk, but found it's threads in Front Desk. So many changes, it was one i didn't notice except viscerally. :)

Here are a few pictures of what's going on, the first is what was going on when I started this (thanks, I did not see the Help Desk) and the other I took just now. as you can see, it shifts around every once and a while.

The only place I can think the image comes from is your cache. So if your PCs memory of the site has went a little funny, it may screw up images.

It fixes seems to fix it at first, but I come back again later and the images are mixed up again.

set your temp file storage to a higher setting.

or you can go to VIEW on firefox and select PAGE STYLE and select NO STYLE.

There is also a way to make the page you are on 'think' that you are using Internet Explorer, Netscape, ect. when you are using Firefox, if that makes any difference.

And that's really weird that my avatar is a button...lol

If it gets really annoying, you could go down to the bottom left of the page to the style and pick PHv5 (minimal). It's the same as PHv5 but without avatars and other icons.

I know, not a fix, but at least it's better than having random avatars staring you in the face all the time.

Does the avatar still link to the quick quote, etc.?

...Because now I am making an association to The Lamma being a quick-reply, and Scottie to being a quoting person. And I don't even have the problem myself.

It only happened to me last night, its not doing it now. So I don't know. :)

'Tis overly weird. Weirdoth is the case of the days. ...I just had to say it weird... The only Opera I've used is on my Wii...I wonder if it would do it? :P
