I just had a pretty good idea, which is rare in my case. They should put "Smile Again" on the new cd as a hidden track at the end of the cd since there is plenty enough room for it on the cd and plus, some people really wanna hear it. What ya guys think?

Yeah, that'd be awesome if they had a hidden track on there somewhere. But, also, we gotta remember that even if Skillet didn't put a hidden track on there, it'll still be an awesome and a hard-worked-on cd. So don't get too down if they don't. It's hard work recording and making a cd.

It doesn't take much work to put an already recorded song on a CD ;D

This needs to go back to the idea of "Skillet is giving us what they think is the very best."

Let's not get all anxious here. ;)

Nah, just throwing out some ideas to make it better, if thats possible. :)

I agree with Ro.

But hey, they can always do like Chevelle. Just because they don't put the song on their cd doesn't mean they can't play it live.

Hidden tracks are a pain. I copy my cds to hard drive thru Windows media player. Hidden tracks double the length of songs so I end up getting a song I might not even want! :P

Yeah, sometimes they can be a pain. Like the one on the Tait cd, you gotta rewind past the first song for about almost a minute.......but if you rewind to far then it shuts off and starts back at the first song, grrrrrrnes.

riley armstrong's cd (independant one) did that.

stricks me as more of a 'hidden track' verses waiting a few minutes after the last song and hearing it.

my thots exactly. when cds first came out, the "hidden track" thing was hidden. didn't know my jars of clay cd had one until i was too lazy to turn off the cd. :P but now, it's not so hidden.

How about the hidden track on The Benjamin Gate's 'Untitled'. The song itself is okay, but, when you put it into the CD player or whatever, it has 77 tracks. ::)

But all the ones inbetween the last track and the hidden one, well.. they're just silence. :P

Maybe they should have tried filling the gap between the last song and the hidden track with some more tunes..........that goes for all bands. ;)

Those 76 tracks aren't normal track length though. They're about twenty to thirty seconds long.

Yeah, Nirvana's cd Nevermind has a hidden track, but you have to wait for like 12 minutes of pure silence, and the song isn't even that great, at all!

freak_for_god22
10-01-2003, 02:12 PM
yeah i saw 76 or w.e and its a waste i think...... i think they should have just got rigth to the song..... or made it like 15 tracks and then did the hidden track right after not do 76....

The weirdest hidden track I have ever heard would be on Relient K's "Two Lefts Dont Make A Right But Three Do" cd. It is really stupid, but yet fun.

I think that it would be an excellent idea, but like someone mentioned, they are a pain to burn, because of the fact you may get a song you don't want. but then again, you can always skip past that part of the song, and just listen to the one you want... unless your in your car or something... lol

No, not really. It's just the RK guys bein silly and havin' fun. I liked their hidden track "Combos and Skittles" on Anatomy of Tounge in Cheek, pretty much a plea to their fans to give them combos and skittles.

If you remember, there was a "hidden" track on Invincible. "Angels Fall Down" was hidden at the end of the last track.

09-30-2004, 09:28 PM
yes, there was. but since "Smile Again" was one of the clips released before Collide was even completed, people anticipated hearing it. yet it didn't make the final cut of the album because they went in a different direction with the sound. so one idea was to put it as a hidden track.

obviously that didn't happen. ;)

I love that song! But when I went to one of Relient K's concerts, people were throwing them on stage, and then he told them not to and told a story why: at one of the concerts, he went on a little section that was a bit higher than the stage and was going to jump down, but since there were skittles all over the floor...it made him fall...and he broke something on his guitar... :-\ kinda funny though :P
