Can somebody please tell me what the message is behind the song "Locked In A Cage"?

The song is talking about how desperate we are to be close to Jesus. I love the extremes. We want to be 'locked in a cage, strapped in a chair, keep the hammer out of my reach'

For Jesus. I am extreme, so I get it.

That is so awesome! So your saying it means we want to be near Jesus so bad that we sorta torture ourselves in a spiritual sense and deny the flesh to be near to him? By the way, got the lyrics by chance?

basically if u've ever seen werewolf in London, compare it to the werewolf handcuffing himself to a tree. he would uncontrolably do thing he didn't want to do(kill), and this compares to us uncontrolably sinning. yet he went thru drastic measures to keep him self safe and from that.

No, the "Locked" bible study isn't on skillet.org...

I think Pillar does great... Pax217 dissapointed me the last time I saw them

Everyday Sunday was AWESOME live! I saw them at a local outdoor Christian festival. They totally rocked, but then I bought their CD, thinking it was gonna rock my socks off and it just didn't. They were so much more energetic live than on their CD. Audio Adrenaline is good live, I've seen 'em twice. So is Third Day, I've seen them three times. And, of course, Skillet rocked like no other live! And I WAS NOT disappointed when I bought their Alien Youth CD after the concert! ;D

Yes, it is good. I was listening to 'Hey You...' the other day and I was like, "wow, this song totally rocks," even though I've heard it a ton of times. It's definitely one of my favorites. But Savior's pretty awesome, too! ;D

I went to a concert friday and got Skillet's first cd for only 5 bucks! That made my evening, along with the rock n or roll. ;)

i like Promise Blender, but there's just something about it. it's almost repetitive to me. not quite, but just enough on the verge that it doesn't make the Top 5 list from that CD. but I Can is great. :)

That "I Can" song is sorta a skitzo song, it jumps from a all out rocker to a slow worshippy type song to everything else. haha

well yeah, they are all special in their own way. none are the exact same, which is really cool to see how they have grown as musicians, songwriters, etc.

Collide is going to sound like a new band, my friends cant believe its the same band with the same members.

See, that's one of the reasons HYILYS is my favorite album. I too love the extremes. If you turn the song into a prayer you can just feel the adrenaline. lol. I've listened to a sample of Savior. It sounds really different, but I really like that. I need to hear the whole thing before my brain explodes from everyone talking about how awesome it is. :o
