Looks very Zergish. Too fleshy to be Protoss and too fleshy/roboticy to be humans. So I'm going with Zerg.

StarCraft is a futuristic Warcraft. Got 3 races

Humans - speak for themselves

Protoss - advanced alien race

Zerg - the biological Borg. They wanna assimilate the galaxy.

It's the kind of game you play JUST for the story!
