I want to find some good, fun, rockin' songs with some good bass. As long as it's Christian and preferable rock/alternative but I'm not too picky. I'm looking for some new songs to learn and I just wanna go crazy with it and have some fun. Thanks for any ideas
God bless!

Any Skillet song. :afro:

Further ~ Pillar

Or these songs by P.O.D. (Traa, the P.O.D. bass player, totally rocks in these songs!):
Space
Revolution
Asthma
Funk Jam
Southtown
Rock The Party (Off the Hook)
Bullet The Blue Sky
Tribal
Boom
Youth Of The Nation
(And more...)

I don't play bass...or guitar...or any instrument for that matter, but these songs have good bass. ;)

The Supertones have some good bass lines. Most ska music has pretty nifty bass lines, unlike a lot of rock music that I know of. The intro to Little Man would be good for a beginning bassist. Because the guitars in ska are kind of background / rhythm sound a good deal of the time, the bass stands out. Basically anything from either The Adventures of the OC Supertones or Supertones Stikeback would be good.

Alien Youth and Kill Me Heal Me are a lot of fun to play. I also really enjoy:

Sobering - plumb
Consuming Fire and Agnus Dei - Third Day
Locked in a Cage, You Are My Hope, Invincible, I Can and Best Kept Secret
Jesus Freak - dcTalk
Original Species, Beautiful, Get Down and This is Everything - Audio Adrenaline

Anything from TFK's first CD, Set It Off. Its really funk/hip hop based and has a real strong bass line on all the songs.
