um..don't think it really counts but, i use to be ;) lol, I'd play in church when I was small but moved from that church, and well I havn't played since, which sucks, if I could I'd go buy me a drum set but, i kinda need money first, lol, but I want one soo badly, darn it's so disappointing. oh well, hey cool your from cali too, yeah!

Yeah, I am. Have been for about 5 years now. I play the drums at my Church, in the school band, and in a side band as well.

i'm a girl drummer :) been playing for a little over a year. i play for my church school band, jazz band, and i take lessons from one of the best drummers in this area. i play to skillet songs all the time. (my all time favorite band)
i was psyched when i learned that Lori played in school band, jazz band, softball and basketball in high school (all the things I do) and wanted to be in a hard rock band for the same reasons i do (to make an impact on teens and to glorify God) ;D , so she's my role model.
i love drumming, i love music. someday i hope to be in a christian hard rock band. i love it.

Yes, Lori is an exellent role model, and I hope that I can glorify God(I don't really want to glorify myself, not saying I'm nothing, just God is so wonderful!)

LOL!! Thats funny! I think it would be so awesome to have a chick drummer in my Band. Can't find any Christian chicks as good as lori.

umm..you'd be hard pressed to find ANY chicks as good as Lori.

my twin sister is a wicked drummer!!! she blows soo many drummers outta the water its incredible!!! and yes, Lori Peters is one of her role models in fact, she even got to tell Lori the story of how she was "called by God" to play drums. my sis needs to start posting on here

weee i'm a chick drummer. didnt we have a post like this awhile back??? anyway i've been playing for almost 2 years in a few weeks hehe. i'm alright. right now i'm learning queens of the stone age's "no one knows" man that song is easy and hard at the same time. anyone got a double bass pedal they are willing to sell???? lol

Number 1) It also could just as easily be said that alot of dude drummers aren't that great. ::]

Number 2) The Donnas drummer kicks absolute bum. 8)

Number 3) Different genres of music have different drum playing.

IM learning how to play drums.. I got a pearl 5 piece in my room....... so after i get the drums down that means i have bass and drums down.. I think next will be guitar..... so then i can become a better bass player.........

Well, I kinda am, so to speak. My brother is a professional. He gives lessons and stuff, so he is teaching me some stuff. I haven't practiced in a while, but I'm a "natural" according to him. hehe. So yeah, I guess you could consider me one.

im a guy drummer! i guess thats not as cool... :( but i am friends with a chic drummer who is incredibly good, better than me, and she is in 8th grade. the only prob is that she doesnt play hard rock, its all soft i'll try to convert her though :P
