Guitarists, (maybe even Bass Guitarists) what kind of effects pedals do you use? I use a Zoom GFX-8 Multi-effects Proccessor and a Digitech Whammy Pedal.

ive got a line6 pod 2.0.......its awsome - it simulates 32 different amps and a load of effects. I have it hooked to my amp as a tone shaper, but they can be used for recording directly or live with no amp as well...........ive also got a ibanez DS7 distortion tone lok pedal and a yardbox (fuzzbox) ;D .......i highly recomment the pod if you have the money (it had to be my graduation gift as i'm poor) theyve got a new model out now too....the pod xt

does anybody know if there are effects pedals made special for electric violin, or do i just have to use guitar effect pedals? i've been wondering about this for a while and can't find the answer anywhere.

I also have a Digitech Metal Master (as a back up) and a Bass effects processor Zoom 606. But my GFX-8 is by far my best pedal

Stats:
VAMS (Variable Architecture ing System)
69 Effects types - up to 9 at once
New Sophisticated Distortion technology can duplicate the sound of Guitar amps & preamps
Intuitive "Easy Edit" knobs for live performance
MIDI IN & OUT
Edit and manage patches with supplied software for Windows 95/98 or Macintosh OS
160 Built-in Zoom patches / 80 user programmable patches
25 second phrase sampler /12 second JAM PLAY feature. You can Alter the speed of your samples without changing the pitch
Rugged all metal chassis designed specifically for on stage use
Built in expression pedal
LARGE easily readable LED Display

Didgitech stuff is pretty good to but not my favorite cause on pass experiences with big Digitech Processors weren't that great, they brake pretty easily if you use them a whole lot. But they got some pretty neefty stuff on em. So I just stick to Zoom cause I like them better all around but thats just me.

i use a zoom for my bass and i am trying to collect all danelectro pedals for my electric. these may be cheaper but i think it is awesome how they are named after foods like the t-bone distortion or hash brown overdrive and the pepperoni phaser

i have a boss me-33 and i love it, but the guy who has the boss gt-6 is really lucky lol! i have a cheaper version of that. i like it alot tho, i love making my own distortion. its pretty sweet, and you can name your own sounds, which is fun hahah
